Shel Brucker is president of The Brucker Consulting Group, a CEO Advisory, working with CEOs and business owners on growth and profitability, cash flow problems, turnarounds, business strategy, finance, and leadership.
Shel also leads a group of non-competing, high-performing CEO and Key Executives for VISTAGE International (previously known as TEC), the world’s largest CEO membership organization, who want to grow their companies faster and more profitably.
As a CEO for 20 years, Mr. Brucker has been an active businessman/entrepreneur creating, running and growing a number of companies. He has an extensive background and experience in executive, financial, sales, marketing and operations management, retail/wholesale, technology, consulting and Internet based businesses. Previously, he had participated in five technology startups in Los Angeles and the Bay Area/Silicon Valley. His last venture was starting one of the first e-commerce sites on the Internet in 1994. He believes a company should be run as if it plans to be sold.
He is a Director of LAVA, has been the Treasurer/CFO of and serves on the Organizing Committee of LAVA's Investment Capital Conference for the last four years, and serves on the advisory boards of a number of companies.
Mr. Brucker has a Bachelors degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and has taken MBA required courses at UCLA.
