John Iino is the firmwide Chair of Reed Smith's Corporate & Securities Group and oversees the Energy/Project Finance group, Emerging Growth/Venture Capital Group, and the Life Sciences Transactions group. John provides business counsel and legal advice to emerging and recapitalizing companies issuing public and private securities and joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures and other fundamental change transactions, including restructurings. He has substantial experience representing U.S., Asian, Canadian and multinational companies in a wide variety of corporate, financial and commercial transactions. His clients include public and private companies and firms in various fields, including consumer electronics, private equity, life sciences, telecommunications, food, wine and beverage, manufacturing, commercial finance, software, distribution, export-import, publishing and entertainment.
