Mr. Kolbrenner is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Los Angeles office, where he is a generalist with experience in many of the firm’s product areas including private placement, M&A, restructurings and valuations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kolbrenner was an associate in the Asset Securitization Group of Lehman Brothers, where he was involved in the structuring, marketing and execution of medium- and short-term asset-backed securities transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Kolbrenner was an associate in the corporate department of Sullivan & Cromwell, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, real estate and financial derivatives. He has spoken publicly and published several works on financial matters. Mr. Kolbrenner earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in psychology, summa cum laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is licensed with the NASD as a General Securities Principal (Series 7, 63, 24).
