Ms. Allen-Attar joined Morgan Stanley/New York initially in 1988. She has over twenty years of investment experience including investment strategy, asset allocation, cash management, fixed income, equities and alternative investments. After earning her CPA certificate at KPMG Peat Marwick, Ms. Allen-Attar joined the Morgan Stanley in-house family office group, focused on working with the firm’s current and retired Managing Directors on all aspects of their financial life. In 1994, she joined the firm’s wealth management group to work as a client strategist, providing expert analysis for our largest client situations on issues relating to concentrated single stock positions, stock options strategies, and asset allocation. She was then promoted to run the tax and estate planning group with in the Private Wealth Management division. In 1998, Ms. Allen-Attar began working with her own client base. In 2000, she left Morgan Stanley for a period to work for a hedge fund consulting firm, and then the investment area of a regional bank. She returned to Morgan Stanley in 2006 to the Private Wealth Management group in Los Angeles. Ms. Allen-Attar earned her BA at Kalamazoo College/Northwestern University. She worked for KPMG Peat Marwick in the tax and audit practice from 1986-1988. She earned her MBA in 1990 from Fordham University in New York. She is a CPA, (1988)/ Personal Financial Specialist (2002).
