Jacques is responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high net worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and foundations and endowments throughout the western United States. He works closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies that help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives. Jacques ensures that clients receive the appropriate blend of services based on their unique needs, including custom lending, investment management, planning, philanthropic, trust, and family office services.
Jacques joined Wilmington Trust in 2003, specializing in trust and estate planning strategies. Earlier in his career, Jacques held professional positions with Robins, Kaplan, Miller, & Ciresi LLP, State Farm Mutual Insurance in Washington, D.C., and Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in New York. He holds a J.D. from Howard University School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Morehouse College. He is also a graduate of the Cannon Trust School.
Jacques is a member of the New York State Bar Association and held life and health insurance licenses in the state of Delaware. His philanthropic work includes membership on the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce and board directorships for the Delaware Helpline and Inside Out Community Arts in Venice, California. He is a founding board member of Future Leaders, Inc in Wilmington, Delaware. He has also served on Wilmington Trust’s Diversity Council and served as chair on both the Diversity Recruitment & Retention Sub-committee and the Diversity Management Office Subcommittee.
